The Roc Nation’s School of Music, Sports & Entertainment’s innovative B.A. in Sports Communication & Marketing – unique in the NYC metropolitan area – prepares students for careers in a dynamic and growing spectrum of sports media. Because the business of sports is a $200 billion industry in the U.S., the demand for students with knowledge of business and communication is growing. Students will gain hands-on experience in areas such as sports writing and reporting; promotion of sports teams, events and products; performing as a play-by-play announcer or program host; and production of sports content for traditional, online and social media. Graduates of the major can pursue internships an jobs in sports broadcasting, sports management, or sports information. |
